I am comfortable being uncomfortable, which translates to being focused on the client's experience. It's not just about taking pictures; it's about getting to capture the personality of each person. I can accommodate indoor or outdoor since I have a private studio. I have different scenes and areas to create with. I am an artistic photographer who can create each vision with passion.
In high school, through medical assisting, I was able to earn a spot in a Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Room, where I was exposed to overdoses and car accident injuries. The hospital sparked my love for mental health because I saw the emotional struggles from situations and the aftereffects. I was able to earn two Associate's degrees in Liberal Arts (in Social Behavioral & Sciences ) and in Nursing. My long-term education goal is to be a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to be able to serve the community.
I have always loved both dirt and glitter. I loved the beauty of nature with each camping trip. I enjoy transforming myself with makeup and art. I was raised in a traditional conservative home, which made self-expression a rebellious task. I enjoy traveling and have always felt so empowered by different cultures. I have a passion for history and books. You may find me at a thrift store shopping for inspiration.
I moved to Colorado in Feb 2023 and started my LLC in April 2023. I have been taking classes in Art and Photography since I was 14. I started taking family pictures since I had none from my infancy available. I saw many young souls pass on, which made me want to seize and capture each day.
I am so thankful to be in an industry with many talented artists. I first focused on customer service and quality of care when I started volunteering with the public at age 12 at churches, non-profits and assisted living. I prioritize each model/client to achieve a process and product filled with joyous moments. For my small business, I am focused on each interaction and connection.
Life is like a circle with no ending—just different forms. I believe in a higher power and that we each have a purpose. Some days, we get to live in that purpose more than others, but each day is a gift. The best gift can be saving those moments with me! Poppy Flower Photography LLC.
